Hello!Welcome to Mrs Urbanski's Classroomemail@example.com ext. 2213
I am so looking forward to the 2016-2017 school year!My love for working with students led me to continue my education at SUNY Fredonia for both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degree. After my Bachelor's degree I was placed in a long term substitute position in an AIS setting, I loved it! I then decided I wanted a Master's in Literacy Education to help students learn to read. My Literacy Master’s degree is something I am very proud of and will work hard to incorporate my knowledge of literacy education to help your student.I know that this will be an amazing and unforgettable school year for both me and your student, let's have an awesome year!
Below are some links to some educational websites that your student may enjoy using at home. Some of the links are to certain websites that will require the student's username and password-I send home all username and passwords for websites that we use in school-if you misplace yours please do not hesitate to contact me!xtramath is a website that the students use almost daily to help practice and increase their fluency in addition facts. With enough practice, students will be moved through the program-our classroom goal is for everyone to reach subtraction by the end of the year! Each session is quick and takes about 5-10 minutes, a nice resource for parents! This links will take students to the IReady log on screen. Again, students will need their username and password. IReady is the school wide program that is a great diagnostic tool, as well as a digital recording of students' progress! An IReady session takes students through various lessons and quick assessments-the instruction is completely tailored to meet each student's needs. Great practice! This website has a lot of educational games that target many different skills, and the kids love it!
